Engineer Ibrahim Al Sada, a human development trainer and lecturer, has stressed that red tape damages work and turns management into an ill model despite the current technological fundamentals that can potentially help to eliminate work red tape. He also indicated that the key to the future depends on how we think in our present, which is the real standard to create meaningful initiatives that can achieve development in all the areas of life.

A lecture and discussion seminar, Newton’s Orange in Management and Leadership, held by the Qatar Youth Hostels (Qatar Youth Hostels), representing the initial spark of the Youth Cultural Season, was attended by Youth Hostels officials. The event also saw the participation of HE Mr. Hassan Mubarak Boubacar, Ambassador of the Republic of Niger to Qatar, Dr. Mohammed Saif Al Kuwari of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), and the author and thinker Mr. Gamal Fayez, along with an elite group of young Qatari leaders.

“Thought is a human means for subsistence, life and development in various aspects of life, especially work. A human’s potential to work outweighs and excels all God’s creatures in the universe by mind, which consists of 100,000,000,000 cells, capable of thinking, concentration and analysis, along with adaptability and consideration of management and leadership as a phenomenon, that enablea man to continuously innovate and develop,” said Engineer Ibrahim Al Sada in his lecture.

The famous author of many writings and publications in management and leadership, continued to say, “There are six modes of thought, all of which can potentially qualify managers or work leaders to resolve problems and challenges by means of creative thought, far from conventional stereotypes. A lot of presidents of organizations are much preoccupied with the fine details of problems, although their role is to provide opportunities, put forward constructive ideas and enhance their organizations, reflecting to productivity and overall renaissance of the society. This can be achieved by permitting managers and executives to address challenges in order to provide them with learning and adaptation experiences under work settings, so that they can be further qualified in future phases, generating creative and useful leaders for the society in the future.”

In his lecture with Qatar Youth Hostels, Engineer Al-Sada also indicated that managers and administrators are significantly and ceaselessly required to promote and update their information through enhancing knowledge and keeping pace with updates in their respective fields. This represents the initial core in the creation of a successful leader or manager, capable of affecting a change in productivity and work pattern once in charge. It is also required to always hold a methodical approach to draw qualifying and work-assisting schemes.

He also stressed that continuous communication between managers and staff is the most prominent aptitude of successful leadership, and has a significant impact on productivity and enhancement of work value and quality. Surveys, measuring work satisfaction rates and open-ended meetings are similarly influential in enriching creative ideas for the favor of work.

Additionally, Engineer Al Sada noted that some people may mistakenly link promotion at work to luck rather than diligence and self-development, which is false to a great extent. Luck at work is a result of suitability of opportunities and a willing person, who is much keen on continuously promoting himself and his potentials. Qatar, as Engineer Al Sada stressed, has all the required fundamentals that potentially enable people to work, promote and develop themselves. This is further duly supported by Qatari organizations, especially Qatar Youth Hostels, through holding lectures, meetings and cultural evenings, when ideas and thoughts are exchanged and developed for the creation of a creative generation in all fields.

“Cultural evenings and discussion seminars held by Qatar Youth Hostels on objective programs, including management and leadership training, constitute an ideal role model all over the region,” said HE Mr. Hassan Mubarak Boubacar, Ambassador of the Republic of Niger, expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Qatar Youth Hostels officials who create and organize such leading initiatives.

“A successful manager has several standards, prioritized by theatrical and practical science. This is followed by practice that in time improves expertise and enhances efficiency, along with entrepreneurship – an important value in building a successful managing personality,” commented Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al Kuwari on the successful management approach.

He noted that initiators can develop future visions, reflecting on work through their proposed ideas and approach of work in order to meet the aspirations of the society for the organization or department they manage. Initiative models are a key building block in creating a prosperous future for the coming generations.

Dr. Al Kuwari also expressed his deep gratitude for the Qatar Youth Hostels dedication to offer creative training ideas in the scope of its distinct cultural season, which represents a creative example for the beneficial thoughts developed for the society youth.

“Good governance is the core to set up well-established organizations for society development. Creating such administrative leaders reflects substantial benefits to work, ensuring the enhancement of its quality and levels and meeting the promotion and prosperity aspirations of the people,” said the author and thinker, Gamal Fayez.

He gave his sincere thanks for Qatar Youth Hostels’s enlightenment role and devotion to duly support and develop youth through constructive ideas that potentially qualify them to successfully take over leadership and management, under its distinct cultural season.

Every initiative is shaped to help them grow their potentials and qualify them to become successful leaders and managers; it is the most noble and prominent objective for rendering service to the society.
