Starting off Tomorrow on Al Ahli Club Futsal Court, Qatar Youth Hostels to Hold a Ramadan Futsal Tournament

Under the auspices of the Qatar Youth Hostels (QYH) Association, a Ramadan Futsal Tournament in the Al-Ahli Club is scheduled tomorrow, Sunday of the week. The tournament will be running on a three-day timeline in Ramadan 9-11. High momentum is awaited among both the competing teams and the viewers during the tournament, which comes as part of the QYH Ramadan events and activities this year.

Organized by the QYH Association, a single team in this open consists of eight players (7 nationals and 1 resident), four of which compete with another on the playing court. This comes out of QYH dedication to promote sport and physical activity among young people, especially during fasting time. Sport, and football in particular, is special pleasure and a strong magnet for a large crowd everywhere all over the world.

Sport is one of the cornerstones of the QYH vision and mission for young people. It creates a sense of cooperation and enhances the spirit and the ethics among sportspeople, especially the young ones, notwithstanding its wholesome impact on the body.

Ramadan is different to the other months of the year in terms of both diet and bedtime. The 30-day month is an incomparable opportunity for weight-loss seekers through practicing sports activities and following healthy diet. In this context, some fasting people may set a self-timer for their exercising; they are either pre-Iftar or post-Iftar exercisers. According to research and studies, fasting for 30 consecutive days without any form of exercise or physical activity downshift stamina and fitness. Young people should then optimally and comprehensively maintain the level of their physical activities during the Holy Month, in order to preserve their health and well-being. Being a key objective of the tournament, our Association is in constant pursuit to access this target for everyone, especially for young people.

Moreover, QYH Association is seeking to provide interactive channels between youth and leadership, which is much further helped generally by sports tournaments, and particularly by football. It is a team game, where youth and adults can compete together. Based on interaction among players, coaches and viewers, a key target of the Association can be hit by this game.

All people are encouraged to follow up with the tournament news and players’ feedback and comments on QYH social networking accounts and are also welcomed to sign up in the tournament. For further information, please contact our Whatsapp number: 66603104.
