Your Game is My Idea” Program

The “Your Game Is My Idea” Hackathon is a competitive tourism-focused program that aims to inspire youth to showcase their creativity in the field of innovation by developing heritage-based games with a modern spirit. The program seeks to promote tourism in the State of Qatar, reflect Qatar’s cultural identity, and enrich visitors’ experiences. The hackathon is implemented in partnership with Studio 5, an innovation studio within the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which provides participants with creative and technical support. This partnership creates a hands-on environment that enables participants to transform their ideas into innovative, practical game prototypes and strengthens the role of youth in developing authentic and engaging tourism content.
