An Interactive Platform for Presenting Future Plans "Youth Hostels Forum" Develops the Youth Work System Doha - Al-Arab: Qatar Youth Hostels organized the first session of its 2026 Youth Hostels Forum, as part of its commitment to enhancing youth participation and developing the youth work system. This marked an ideal start to the new year. Qatar Youth Hostels stated that the first forum session, held under the theme "We Listen to You, We Develop Through You," was attended by 12 members and volunteers of Qatar Youth Hostels, reflecting their positive engagement with the proposed youth initiatives. Ms. Fatima Al-Sulaiti, Head of Events and Programs, emphasized that the Youth Hostels Forum was implemented with the participation of several youth leaders who have contributed to the success of Qatar Youth Hostels' activities and programs over the past years. She noted that the forum aims to involve them in presenting their opinions and suggestions for developing the youth work system, making it more responsive to the needs and aspirations of young people. She explained that the event also aimed to strengthen the principle of partnership with young people and listen to their practical experiences, in addition to explaining the operational mechanisms of Qatari youth hostels and their role in empowering youth. It also highlighted the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and linked them to implemented youth programs and initiatives. She noted that the forum served as an interactive platform for constructive dialogue and the exchange of expertise, where a number of future events and plans were discussed and developed at an advanced level, along with the review and updating of some existing programs, all contributing to the promotion of sustainable youth tourism.
