اوكسيدنتال قطر للبترول توقع اتفاقية رعاية مع بيوت الشباب القطرية

وقّعت أوكسيدنتال قطر للبترول وبيوت الشباب القطرية اتفاقية رعاية لدعم البرامج السياحية التي تنفذها بيوت الشباب القطرية من خلال عدد من المبادرات والبرامج مثل “إكتشف قطر في 144 ساعة” و “دليل المستكشف القطري”، ويأتي ذلك في إطار دور بيوت الشباب و شركة أوكسيدنتال قطر للبترول في التنمية المجتمعية من خلال دعم البرامج التي تعنى بتطوير البرامج الشبابية ورعاية الشباب ودفعهم ليكونوا لبنة مؤثرة في المجتمع.

ووقع الاتفاقية السيد أحمد حسن العبيدلي المدير التنفيذي لبيوت الشباب القطرية و السيد أندرو كرشاو الرئيس و المدير العام لشركة أوكسيدنتال قطر للبترول

ويذكر أن بيوت الشباب القطرية قد أطلقت مؤخرا مجموعة من المبادرات النوعية ومن بينها مبادرة اكتشف قطر في 144 ساعة وهي عبارة عن برنامج سياحي موجه لكل شباب العالم لزيارة قطر ضمن مجموعات شبابية بالتنسيق مع جمعيات بيوت الشباب بهذه الدول لقضاء ستة أيام لاكتشاف مختلف المعالم والوجهات السياحية بالدولة وابراز دور قطر الفعال في شتى المجالات .

كما تم اطلاق مبادرة ” دليل المستكشف القطري ” وهي عبارة عن منصة الكترونية سيتم نشر محتواها فيما بعد في شكل كتاب فاخر ليكون مرجعا توثيقـيا تاريخــيا لهـواة السفــر القطرييـن مترجما إلى لغات عديدة . حيث أن هذا الدليل هو من الشباب إلى الشباب ؛ يخاطب الشباب العربي بشكل عام والشباب القطري بشكل خاص ، لينقل لهم خبرات وتجارب الآخرين في مجال السياحة والسفر واكتشاف المعالم السياحية حول العالم وخوض المغامرات المختلفة ، كما سينقل صورة حية للعالم الخارجي على لسان المُستكشفين الشباب .

و ذكر السيد أندرو كرشاو “أوكسيدنتال تسعى جاهدة لتكون شريكا في الاختيار ي كل مكان نعمل فيه من خلال استثمار الوقت و الموارد في البرامج التي تقوي المجتمعات المحلية مع استمرار نمو قطر كوجهة عالمية ، يسرنا أن نشكّل شراكة جديدة مع بيوت الشباب القطرية ، حيث توفر مبادرات اكتشف قطر في 144 ساعة و دليل المستكشف القطري فرصة فريدة لإبراز التنوع الثقافي للبلاد إلى الجمهور العالمي.

وصرّح المدير التنفيذي لبيوت الشباب السيد أحمد حسن العبيدلي يسرّ بيوت الشباب القطرية أن توقع هذه الاتفاقية مع أوكسيدنتال قطر للبترو ، ونودّ أن نشكر أوكسي قطر على دعمنا من خلال رعاية برامجنا ، حيث حرصنا من البداية أن تكون مبادراتنا نوعية و نموذجية تخدم الشباب بدرجة أولى و تتماشى مع أهداف حركة بيوت الشباب بصفة خاصة و أهداف وزارة الثقافة والرياضة بصفة عامة ورؤية قطر الوطنية 2030 . كما أنها تأتي ضمن أهدافنا الاستراتيجية ورؤيتنا “شباب شغوف باكتشاف العالم وعلى درجة عالية من الوعي والقدرة على التفاعل الإيجابي مع كافة الحضارات”

Occidental Petroleum of Qatar Ltd. signs a sponsorship agreement with Qatar Youth Hostels Association

(“Oxy Qatar”) and Qatar Youth Hostels Association (“QYH”) have signed a sponsorship agreement to support youth tourism activities carried out by QYH. These activities are being carried out through a number of initiatives and programs such as “Discover Qatar in 144 hours” and “Qatar Explorer Guide“, as part of the role of Oxy Qatar in community development. The supporting programs are concerned with youth development and care in order to encourage the youth to be an effective building block in society.

The sponsorship agreement was signed by Mr. Ahmed Hassan Alobaidly, CEO of QYH and Mr. Andrew H. Kershaw, President & General Manager of Oxy Qatar.

QYH recently launched a series of qualitative initiatives, including “Discover Qatar in 144 Hours“. This is a tourist program directed towards youth groups from various youth hostels around the world to discover Qatar in 144 hours, to learn about the most important tourist, heritage and sports places and to explore Qatar.

The “Qatar Explorer Guide” initiative has been launched in several languages and will later be published as a luxury book to serve as a historical reference guide for Qatar travel enthusiasts. The guide addresses Arab youth in general as well as Qatari youth in particular, conveying experiences in tourism and travel and engaging in various adventures. It will also provide a vivid picture of Qatar to young explorers around the world.
