Qatar Youth Hostels To Celebrate IWD

The event will host a number of prominent female figures in the State, along with the participation of ladies, both locally and globally.
During the forum, Qatar Youth Hostels will review how women can be involved in the various events and objective activities, e.g. traveling and touring, along with delivering the Qatar Youth Hostels message to disseminate tolerance all over communities.
“International Women’s Day, held annually on March 8th, is an anniversary to recognize and highlight women’s achievements, aspirations and realities, along with the challenges encountered on their way. Our advocacy calls for positive changes and accelerated endeavors to ensure adequate opportunities for their involvement in shaping the history of their homeland and society,” Qatar Youth Hostels stated during the event.
This day, as Qatar Youth Hostels stresses, is a promising platform to further promote and support women to achieve greater social, political and economic accomplishments, and defeat the obstacles and stumbling blocks in their development path. Women are empowered to hold high-profile and decision-making positions, based on justice, gender equality and equal opportunities, while uprooting the gender-based culture that considers women only on the basis of their gender.
