إن من أهم أهداف حركة بيوت الشباب هي تمكين الشباب من إكتشاف العالم والتعرف على الثقافات والعادات والتقاليد للشعوب الأخرى والتعريف بعاداته وتقاليده وثقافته لهم.

وانطلاقا من شعارنا نكتشف العالم بشغف نقترح تنظيم مبادرة «سُفرة غير» وهي عبارة عن دعوة مجموعة من الشباب القطريين و بنفس العدد شباب من إحدى الجاليات المقيمة بدولة قطر بالتنسيق مع مدارس ومجالس الجاليات لقضاء يوم كامل معا يتعارفون خلالها على ثقافات و عادات بعضهم البعض

One of the most important objectives of the youth hostel movement is to enable young people to discover the world and learn about the cultures, customs and traditions of other peoples and to introduce their own to others. It is an invitation of a group of Qatari youth and the same number of youth from one of the communities residing in Qatar to spend a whole day together, to get acquainted with each other’s cultures and customs. The invitation will be hosted under the umbrella of the schools and community councils in Qatar.
