Under its brand-new Zuara Program, Qatar Youth Hostels Association Visits Ehsan and QCSCD

Under its recent Zuwara program, the Qatar Youth Hostels (QYH) Association paid visit to Qatari Center of Social Cultural for the Deaf (QCSCD) and Ehsan Charity Center for the Elderly Care. It has stressed its mission in upholding the categories that lack psychological and moral support, especially those with special needs, e.g. the deaf and the elderly.

“This visit was paid under our recently launched Zuwara program, in collaboration with Soul Riders. There was weighted interaction between the deaf and the visitors and had a considerable psychological impact on them.”, said Mr. Ahmed Hussein Al Aajmi, Head of the Activities Department, QYH. “The QYH Association always dedicates itself to communicate with such centers that provide support and care for the elderly or the disabled. It wants these categories to feel loved, supported and upheld by their society to defeat their disabilities and to socially reintegrate them”.

Through Zuwara Program, the Association communicates with many entities to pay recurrent visits to these centers as a kind of social support and a sense of duty towards these categories.

“This visit had a widely positive influence on the deaf, who felt harmonized for and happy with the attendance of the QYH Association and team of Soul Riders,” said Mr. Abdullah Al Mulla, Chairman of the Board, QCSCD, affirming other programs with Association in the coming period. “The meaningful social initiatives developed by the Association have brought about better upward mobility on the scale of the various programs, activities and posts. The Association also offers cultural programs and travel activities, all of which are peculiar messages delivered by its new management”.

Moreover, the visit paid to the Ehasan Empowerment and Care of the elderly Charity Center is particularly important. Members got together with the elderly and made them feel supported and embraced by the society and their lifetime services are still remembered and recognized. The elderly are always in need of emotional backup, given through such visits that help to turn them comfortable, tranquil and happy. They are never forgotten but always recognized and cared for by their affectionate society.
